So, I’m part of an Improv Troup. (: We’re going to Idaho in July to compete in this huge competition of people from the U.S.A and Canada. I was just thinking over some stuff regarding improv, and I realized how applicable it is to real life. The faster you think —- the funnier you are. Why? Because, honestly, sometimes we don’t think about what we’re saying. When we think fast and say things quick, we say stupid, albeit, sometimes clever, junk. In improv, that’s great. It’s how it should be. It’s funnier that way. However, in life? Not so much. It’s offensive. Speaking before you think can hurt people. I’ve learned that the hard way. I’ve spoken and offended, as well as had someone speak to me without thinking… and it kind of burned. This is kind of a stupid post. I know. But it’s a thought that’s been wreaking havoc in my brain for hours now —- it kinda had to get out eventually.
